美國陸軍,DH-132 戰車頭盔(建泰公司),民國65年《Black Water Museum Collections | 黑水博物館館藏》
PRIMARY DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS
The DH-132 Vehicle Crewman Helmet provides the wearer with superior noise attenuation and bump protection. It has been carefully designed for com- patability with the environment in which it is used so that binoculars and vehicle instruments and equipment can be used and operated without dif- ficulty.
For best performance, the helmet must be prop- erly fitted to the individual wearer and reasonable care and maintenance exercised.
In order to obtain maximum sound protection, the chin strap should be fastened and properly ten- sioned at all times.
The pages following describe these procedures and include a simplified trouble shooting chart, repair procedures, and a recommended spare parts list.
GENERAL ASSEMBLY DESCRIPTION
The DH-132 Helmet consists of four major com- ponents; outer shell, inner liner, earcups/phones and microphone assembly.
The rigid outer protective shell is attached to the inner liner by snap fasteners at the right and left temple areas and at the goggle strap center position behind the head, and by Velcro tape running from the crown to the forehead area.
The inner liner consists of foam energy-absorb- ing sections enclosed in a mesh fabric. Leather fastener mounts with male snap fasteners are coupled with their female counterparts on the outer shell and the chin strap.
The earcup assemblies are inserted into the earsection openings of the inner liner.
The microphone boom is attached to the right earcup. The communications switch and the upper earphone cord are attached to the left earcup. A retractile (coiled) cord for connection to the vehicle communication system is attached to the upper cord.
